The German made Heidenau K60 range of tyres are a proven performer on and off road. The tread pattern and compound deliver great cornering stability and wet weather grip on the pavement, while still delivering off road grip as well. These tyres are popular for the Adventure bike riders and some cafe racer rider looking for that unique look. The K60 uses different tread patterns and carcass structures to best cater for the different bike fitments. For example, the demands of a 170/60-17 tyre fitted to a 150 hp adventure are very different to a rear tyre fitted to a SR400. The different tread patterns and carcass cater for this varied demand. For the 150 and 170-17 size rears Heidenau offer 2 different compounds, the normal "RSA' or the new "CC." The CC (Cold Climate) compound is a little softer, about 20% for better grip and feel in colder conditions. Some sizes are front and rear fitment.
