Road racing tracks feature multiple and variable conditions so Metezeler designed the Racetech RR to cope with all of them. The compound blends a selection of polymers and resins with different rates of carbon black to maximize grip even on slippery surfaces. The front Racetech RR delivers more grip and wear resistance to last longer even under the harshest asphalt conditions. The rear tyre features a highly conductive center strip, which supports the shoulder compound from underneath warming it up during long straights by redistributing the heat generated to the shoulders. This helps to maintain the optimum tyre temperature ensuring grip when going into and out of corners. This DOT tyre is now available in a 110-18 front and 130-18 rear for some vintage race bikes.
