The Pirelli MX Soft is suitable for mud and sandy terrain. This tyre has paddle like reinforced knobs with large spacing to dig into the soft surfaces. If you have a sand MX race or like to ride in the dunes these are a great choice. If you are after 18 inch see Dunlop MX11, Bridgestone M102 or Goldentyre GT280. Pirelli don't do a sand front any more, the matching Pirelli front is the MX32 soft mid.
