These grips are what we call ‘half half” type grip. This refers to the half the grip that faces down has a waffle pattern for added finger grip. The other half which faces up has a smoother small dimple design to minimize chafing on the palm of your hands. This type of half waffle design has long been a favorite of dirt bike riders. This grip is a dual compound grip with a softer outer rubber used on the main grip pad while a firmer more durable rubber is used in the body of the grip for added durability.
