The design goal was to provide maximum grip while maintaining excellent bump compliance and durability. The GT216AA has a V shaped knob pattern and flexible carcass construction
to provide unmatched traction in any terrain. Each size 216AA has specific characteristics to maximize performance in a specific type of conditions. The smaller 80/100 and 90/90 tyres will tend to turn quicker and are less likely to climb out of ruts. The 90/100 216AA is commonly called the "Fatty". The oversize profile creates a larger rolling diameter to help overcome logs, rocks, ledges and other challenging terrain. The increased footprint and tall, flexible sidewall allow for maximum traction in uneven terrain commonly
found in off road racing.
