The 016 is a older generation Sports tyre that Bridgestone still manufacture. These tyre are not old stock but new duel compound tyres made using older compounds and molds. The 016 tyres wear very well and are suited to older bikes used as all rounders were the rider wants the extra grip offered over touring tyres. Probably not the best option for a current 200 HP superbike.
