Dunlop D407 rear and D408 front

The Dunlop D407 rear tyres are made using Dunlops Multi Tread technology on some sizes. The front D408 are a single compound tyre. These tyres are known for the extra grip offered compared to normal Dunlop touring tyres. Along with the grippy compounds the D407/408 have bold, angled lateral grooves in the tread pattern which helps evacuate water away from the contact patch to provide planted feel in wet conditions. These tyres were developed jointly by Dunlop and Harley Davidson for select Softail, FL touring and CVO bikes.
