These Alloy Gear levers are manufactured from high quality forged alloy in Taiwan. They are strong enough to survive a crash and have a fail point before breaking the shaft. The spring loaded fold back end is knurled for improved boot feel and grip. This image look alot worse than the lever, it is a normal alloy colour.
