The Roadtec Z8 are a sports touring tyre. These tyres offer riding easiness, comfort, predictability and easy turn in. They are made using Metzeler Interact technology which is multi tension belt technology with different tension of the steel belt underneath the tread compound. The center high tension steel belts reduces compound movement and increases stability of the footprint area which reduces wear and ensures high speed stability. The lower tension belts on the sidewalls create more flexibility and energy absorption, this increases the temperature of the tyre becoming softer, offering more grip while leaning.
